To our Northwood Businesses,
I hope that this letter finds you, your business and your employees well during these strange pandemic times. I am reaching out to let you know that, although our offices may be closed during this time, The City of Northwood is here for you. We have several key pieces of information that we are keeping up to date on our Website and Facebook page.
We would also like to inform you that during this event, the City will not be enforcing the temporary sign code. We feel that this would help your business to keep the public in the know by allowing temporary signs to be placed in viewing areas where cars and people alike would be able to easily see that you are open for business, if this is the case, and felt this would be especially helpful for those who are in the food industry. Please note that this does not in any way, shape, or form mean that you should not heed the advice of our Governor. Please use your judgment and the State of Ohio’s letter in identifying if you are an essential business for operation purposes.
We are in this together and remain hopeful that this will make our community stronger in the long run, but for now, we must work together, with the State of Ohio to make sure we are doing our part.

We are calling on all our Northwood Small Business Owners. We, at The City of Northwood, are in need of YOUR help! We have created a short survey for you to complete. The responses from the survey will be used to help us identify opportunities for financial relief and prepare materials to inform state and federal stimulus packages that could help Northwood recover from the implications of the COVID-19 outbreak.
Please take a few minutes and complete the survey: https://s.zoomerang.com/r/CityofNorthwoodEconomicSurvey
