Pledge of Allegiance:

The special meeting of the Northwood City Council was called to order by Mayor Mark Stoner on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Northwood Municipal Building. 

The Pledge of Allegiance was then given.

Roll Call:

The roll was called by the Clerk of Council and those in attendance were as follows: Mayor Mark Stoner,

Council Members Kozina, Edwards, Schimmel,  Hughes, Barton and Gallaher;  City Attorney Ballenger, Acting Administrator/Chief Cairl, Acting City Council Clerk Jagodzinski

Motion to Excuse:

Motion to Excuse Mike Meyers: Motion by Hughs, Second by Edwards:  Motion Passed

Purpose of Meeting

 Mayor Mark Stoner: Recommendation for appointment: Kenneth Yant, Perrysburg, Ohio for Finance and Revenue Director of the City of Northwood, Ohio.  Effective Date August 27, 2012.  At the current rate of pay, with a 6 month probationary period. Pending a successful completion of a drug and physical test.

Motion for Recommendation for appointment by Hughs, Second by Schimmel.  Motion Passed
