Senior Fitness Classes

Northwood residents ages 55 and over are invited by the City of Northwood to take fitness classes at the Eastern Community YMCA.  Show proof of residency at the YMCA to purchase the annual card for $20.  You may participate in Land Fitness Classes, Water Fitness Classes and the Walking Club.

Land Fitness Class Schedule:

• Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9:15am to 10am
• Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10am to 10:45am

Water Fitness Class Schedule:

• Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:10am to 8:45am
• Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9am to 9:45am
• Tuesday and Thursday 12:45pm to 1:30pm

Walking Club Schedule:

• Monday thru Friday 7:30am to 9am
• Saturday 4:30pm to 6pmSunday 12:30pm to 2pm

Golden Buckeye Card

Ohio residents who hold current Ohio Driver License or State I.D. cards automatically receive a  Golden Buckeye Card in the month of their 60th birthday.  Individuals who do not have a current  license or State I.D., as well as people under the age of 60 who are eligible due to disability, or who  otherwise do not recive their card automatically, may apply for a card at most public libraries and  senior centers.  Due to I.D., age and disability (when appropriate) verification requirements, you  cannot apply for a Golden Buckeye Card online or by telephone.  For more information, including  where to use the card and prescription drug savings use this Golden Buckeye Card Link.
