October 2018

Wednesday, October 17th, 2018 the Northwood Police Department will be having it's Cider with Cops event from 6:00 PM - 6:30 PM at Station 1 on Tracy Road in Northwood. 



The Northwood Fire Dept. Ladies Aux. will be having the Halloween Parade on Saturday, October 27, 2018 beginning at noon at Brentwood Park with 11:45 a.m. line-up.  The parade will end at Fire Station #83 for judging of costumes.  Refreshments will be available for purchase from the Auxiliary. 


Wednesday, October 31, 2018 is Halloween
Trick or Treat times will be from 6:00 P.M. - 7:30 P.M. rain or shine.  Please note that there was a MISPRINT in the City Newsletter and the correct times are 6P - 7:30 P. Thanks!


November 2018

The Northwood Fire Dept. Ladies Aux. will be holding a Vendor Fair on Saturday, November 3, 2018.  This is a great way to get holiday gift shopping and home decorating done in one place and in one day!  This event helps support local crafter's and direct sales consultants.  The event is open for area crafter's and direct sales consultants, as long as same business is not previously spoken for. 

Sunday, November 4, 2018 is Daylights Saving. Be sure to set your clocks to Fall Back! 
Tuesday, November 6, 2018 is Election Day!  

Sunday, November 11, 2018 is Veteran's Day!


The Northwood Fire Dept. Ladies Aux. will be hosting the Northwood Fire Department Feather Party on November 11, 2018. 
Thursday, November 22, 2018 is Thanksgiving. The City of Northwood Offices will be closed Thursday, 11/22 and Friday, 11/23/18 in observance of the holiday. Happy Thanksgiving all!!!


December 2018

Saturday, December 1, 2018 - WOOD COUNTY PERSONAL SHREDDING EVENT will be going on from 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. at the Wood County Fairgrounds - South Parking Lot.  Wood County Residents may bring up to five (5) bags or boxes of paper items to be shredded onsite as you watch.  All they ask if that you provide an UNWRAPPED NEW TOY or CASH DONATION.  Donations will be given to children who are involved with WOOD COUNTY JOB AND FAMILY SERVICES to make their Holiday a little brighter!  Sponsored by: Wood County Commissioners; Wood County Solid Waste Mgmt District; Wood County Job & Family Services; and Allshred Services.

Monday, December 24, 2018 is Christmas Eve.  The City of Northwood Offices will be closed in observances of the holiday. 

Tuesday, December 25, 2018 is Christmas Day.  The City of Northwood Offices will be closed in observances of the holiday. 

Monday, December 31, 2018 is New Year's Eve.  The City of Northwood Offices will be closed in observances of the holiday.
