Per Northwood Codified Ordinance 812.01, The City has the right to deny a registration if the applicant fails to provide all information requested and/or does not meet the standards set place on the application. The applicant may appeal the Board of Zoning Appeals.Whoever shall fail to register or conduct business in violation of the registration requirements herein or violate any provision of this chapter shall be subject to a doubled original registration fee. Failure to renew shall result in an original fee.
Northwood, Ohio levies a payroll-income tax of one and one-half percent (1.5%). This tax must be deducted from the earned income of all employees working in Northwood and remitted to Northwood in accordance with Section 880.06 of the Northwood Code of Ordinance. Also, an Income Tax of one and one-half percent (1.5%) must be paid on all net profits earned in Northwood.
