There are several parks through out the City that offer a variety of opportunities for community members to enjoy outdoor activities.Ranger Park - located off of Curtice Road in front of Menards, Ranger Park features Stoner Pond, a 5 acre body of water surround by a walking trail. The Kid's Fishing Derby is hosted at Stoner Pond and is the perfect fishing spot for people of all ages!
Nature Trails - You will find a scenic one-mile walking path stationed off of Curtice Road just before S. Wynn Road. Different exercise stations are set up along the walking trial along with benches for resting.
Central Park - Just behind the Northwood Police Department is home to the Northwood Fall Festival, Pizza Palooza & Food Truck Friday’s . Along with a spacious layout for hosting outdoor events, Central Park has many additional features including: A playground, basketball court, tennis court, pickle ball court, baseball diamond and an outdoor shelter house that may be used on a first come first serve basis or reserved by clicking HERE for a fee.
Brentwood Park - At the end of Brentwood Drive you will come across a vast area known as Brentwood Park which includes: a walking trail, playground, disc golf, picnic area, a basketball court, soccer fields, T-Ball diamond, softball diamonds, an outdoor shelter house, newly built concession stand for future use and a rubberized baseball field managed by The Miracle League of Northwest Ohio that gives children of all abilities the opportunity to play baseball! The shelter house may be used on a first come first serve basis or reserved by clicking HERE for a fee.
